Bridget has a beautiful, melodic voice which is equally at home with songs from both sides of the Atlantic. Bridget's song writing is lyrical and economical. She's not afraid of emotion and she's sensitive enough not to ladle it on too thickly.

She paints pictures, tells stories, and sketches characters with insight and sensitivity. In the duo's live stage show and on their CDs, her own home grown songs fit seamlessly alongside the excellent imported songs from the best contemporary songwriters in folk and new country.

Roy's vocals are superb - he's especially good at adding just the right harmonies. He has one of those voices that was made for singing folk music. A voice of the common man, from a very uncommon singer.

"The two voices work wonderfully together, especially when singing acappella. Their live performance reveals a rich blend of harmony with friendly introductions interspersed with a sense of fun and humour."
Ali O'Brien, Saddleworth Folk & Roots Festival
